What happens when I join?We E-mail our Internet Directory to you along with the `Easy Steps guide` and The Members Agreement. You then browse through the Directory and follow our guide from there, its easier than you think!

Will anyone swap with me?It is important to take the initiative and make contact with people, rather than waiting to be contacted. Make your home and location sound attractive, (without being misleading.) Bear in mind that people are often looking for something different, e.g. a country person may well be seeking a `town swap`.
3. Should I write to my home swap partner?
Yes, we strongly recommend that you do, and we fully cover the arrangements which should be made in writing in our `Easy Steps Guide`.
4. How many swaps can I make?
As many as you like, from long week-ends to several weeks, its entirely up to you and your `swap` partners.
5. Can I swap our holiday home as well?
Yes, providing you own or rent it for the holiday period, you can include it in your Internet Directory information.
6. Can I arrange to swap cars?
Yes, this is a sensible option if you are going abroad. It may help to consider the following points:
a. Ensure that there is adequate insurance cover for your swap partners, you will need the full names of any potential drivers.
b. Make sure that you both have a suitable driving license for the country you are visiting, and that you know each others license nos.
c. Discuss proposed distances of travel and general care and maintenance of your vehicles, also agree to re-imburse for any small repairs.
7. What could go wrong?
If you follow our `Easy Steps Guide` to arranging your home swap, and abide by our Members Agreement, there should not be a problem.
